TAKE 5 : A week-long summer school video project for I♥WLDS.
Five films in five days with five filmmakers and twentyfive young people. In collaboration with Interplay Theatre.
The movie explores a reluctance to leave the comfort of the sofa, choosing instead, to experience the world through the television set.
The young people chose to explore this notion further by taking 'their' sofa with them. Filming the reactions of local people on discovering a sofa in the unlikeliest of places. The concept running throughout the film is one of 'letting go' of the sofa, and venturing outside to experience the world in reality. Filmed on location in Pudsey, UK.
